Sunshine Award ~ brighten my day!

Everyone! I am extremely happy today! Fancy Little Talk has been nominated for the Sunshine Award~ Well, today is a rainy day here in Paris, so I must say it totally makes my day. And, and, that’s not all, of course! The person who nominated me… I am a regular reader of her blog, I love her way of writing, I love her book reviews, and since we often have the same tastes in books, I add some of the one she introduces to my list (which is growing longer and longer everyday… luckily, I will graduate soon!)… well, that is to say, I am even more happy to know she enjoys my blog!

I hope Little Miss Fran sees this post, though as you probably noticed she isn’t so active in the blog lately. She is studying hard for the exams, so she has no time for posting! I guess I am less serious when it comes to my studies, since we do have the same exams…

So, let’s try following the rules for once:

Include the award’s logo in a post or on your Blog (Done!).
Link to the person who nominated you. (

Link your nominees to the post and comment on their Blogs, letting them know they have been nominated.

10 questions about myself… well, well… I don’t know what might interest you…

1 – A song I can listen to thousands of time without getting tired:

-> At the Beginning, Richard Marx & Donna Lewis (Yes, the one you can hear in Anastasia, I love it so much!)

2 – The book I am currently reading:

-> Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. In Spanish. I need to improve my Spanish and to achieve that, I have to read, right? So, why not combine useful with pleasant?

3 – A bad habit I should get rid of:

-> Bury my head in the sand when something makes me nervous. That’s not a solution, and it only makes it last longer. But it seems to be a strong habit, I still have to work on it.

4 – A book I would like to change to end of:

-> Harry Potter and the deathly hallows. Not that I’d like to change the whole end. Just saving Tonks and Lupin would be enough to make it a lot better. Why, whyyyyy did you have to kill Tonks and Lupin?

5 – A quote I love:

-> Every day you spend without a smile is a lost day. I don’t know who said this, but I love this sentence. I cannot imagine spending an entire day without smiling. However hard is life, smiling is what makes it worth living, right? So, please, SMILE!

6 – A celebrity I would love to meet:

-> Beverley Mitchell. She seems to be an amazing person and I would absolutely love to have a conversation with her.

7 – A country I would love to visit:

-> Mongolia. It sounds weird, I know, but I am a huge fan of horse riding, and I dream of doing a trek in Mongolia.

8 – The weirdest thing that ever happened to me:

-> Two or three years ago, though my i-pod was on pause, I heard very clearly a voice whispering “Your father promised her…” several times! I totally freaked out. I was like “e~h? I’m crazy or what? I did hear it, right? I’m sure I did!”. Well, I later discovered that my i-pod was bugging and played songs on its own, while supposingly on pause, and even if the screen showed another song title. In fact, it was the beginning of a song from The Phantom of the Opera… Totally weird and scary.

9 – Favourite snacks:

-> Nachos with salsa dip!

10 – Worst movie I ever watched:

-> Probably “Cherchez Hortense“. You lucky English speakers will never have to watch it. It is a French movie, and after only 3 minutes I was looking for an exit. Well, I ended up staying in the cinema because there was no way to get out but it was really REALLY that bad.

Pfiou! Finally got ten! What a challenge!

So now… my nominees are…

-> Tales Of Life Love And Ice Cream

-> Letters to Cinderella

-> Shh!…It’s a Library

-> The World’s Top 10… of Anything and Everything

-> Curious Mother

I will stop at five. I know, I know, I am supposed to nominate 10 of them, and I woud really love to, but it so happens that I don’t follow many blogs. I don’t have much time to read blogs lately (I will when holidays finally come!), so I prefer reading well the few ones I follow for now. But, do check out those blogs, they make me smile everytime I read them!

Thank you again Lydia for nominating me, it really makes me super happy!
